Birth Community Acupuncture
Birth Community Acupuncture is a community clinic that serves families throughout the perinatal period. Many women planning to deliver at the Birth Center of Boulder have chosen to do so because they want low-intervention, natural childbirth. Multiple international studies have shown that women who have acupuncture during their pregnancy will be more likely to go into labor without intervention, need fewer medical interventions than those who have not had acupuncture, have shorter labors, and report relatively less pain. For acupuncture to be effective at promoting childbirth and benefiting labor, we ask our patients to come in 1-3 times per week during the last month of their pregnancy. Our clinic prices are set to be affordable and make acupuncture treatments available to all. To learn more, visit: www.birthacu.com

BirthPrep 6 Class Series (Prenatal)

BirthPREP is all about training you for the birth marathon. This series is designed to strengthen you both physically and mentally by mimicking the way contractions move in and out of the body during labor. Most laboring moms experience a high of a contraction and a low. The high is all about the intensity while the low can be seen as a rest period to prepare for the next contraction. We recommend you do these classes at all stages of their pregnancy so that you’re trained and ready for your birth marathon. Maximum of 10 students.

MamaFIT 6 Class Series

This class series is all about taking your core to the next level while keeping you in that safe zone to ensure optimal healing and re-strengthening. In these classes, we’re focused on teaching you how to connect to your body in the deepest way possible and know that this ability will support you in significant ways as you continue to progress back into the fitness method of your choice. Non-mobile babies are welcome! Appropriate for women after 6 weeks postnatal throughout the rest of their lives! Maximum of 10 students.
